“It is an honor and a privilege to serve as your State Representative, and I want to thank you for the opportunity to work in Madison on your behalf.

As Chair of the Assembly Committee on Aging and Long-Term Care, I helped pass bills that are of concern to the elderly and otherwise vulnerable residents in the State of Wisconsin. AB 279 was passed out of this committee helping elders and adults at risk. However, there is still much that needs to be done in Madison.

There is no question that the struggling economy, high taxes, high fuel prices, and rising health care costs are major causes of anxiety for families. Wisconsin needs to address these issues, and state government needs to live within its means so that YOU can keep YOUR own hard-earned money. I know that tomorrow can be better and we CAN get our communities, our neighborhoods and our state back on the right track! We CAN make government more efficient and accountable. And most importantly, we can have a strong economy with good paying jobs. To move Wisconsin forward, please vote TOWNSEND in November 2008. Together, we can address the issues facing our families and neighborhoods.
